The Design Process
Design Brief
Our process begins with a comprehensive and on-site consultation, where Lee will spend 1.5 to 2 hours evaluating your garden space and gaining an understanding of your vision. During this meeting, a design brief will be developed, providing you with a clear and unique direction for your landscape design.
The design brief will include a comprehensive direction for your landscape and garden, covering the layouts, as well as suggestions for materials, plants, pool location, and alfresco areas. It provides a clear outline of the direction and details of your project.
After the consultation, Lee will create a concept board highlighting potential landscape design features and showcasing accompanying images, as well as a list of inspiring gardens to visit. You will then receive a proposal for the design fee, which will encompass the costs of developing and finalizing your landscape design.

Development
After accepting the design fee proposal, Lee will commence the design process, working to create a unique and personalized landscape design that meets your brief and requirements.
During this stage, Lee may need to collaborate with project partners and visit your garden to gather additional information. Upon completion, a Review and Development meeting will be scheduled to present the preliminary design layout. The draft plan will be comprehensive, including details such as demolition, earthworks, layout, irrigation, pots, landscaping features, materials, levels, lighting, and plant selections.
The Review and Development meeting will also feature a detailed cost estimate for the entire project, including material and labour costs, to enable informed decision-making.
To further facilitate the review process, Lee will provide you with both digital and printed versions of the draft design, along with a comprehensive list of main landscaping materials for consideration. This will allow you to thoroughly review the plan and make any necessary changes before finalizing the design.

Final
With your approval of the draft design, Lee will move forward with creating a detailed final plan that brings your landscape vision to life.
This final plan will be shared with the landscaping construction team to ensure accurate installation of your design. The final plan set will be comprehensive, including separate sheets for the hardscape and softscape elements, and containing information on the layout, materials, plantings, irrigation, pots, landscaping features, levels, lighting, and plant selections.
The final plans will be provided to you in both digital and scaled formats, to ensure full clarity and understanding of the final design.
